Bassmead Manor is a warm and tranquil venue nestled amongst vast countryside in the beautiful town of St Neots, Cambridgeshire. This was the perfect setting for Christie and Chris’ intimate wedding day full of their closest family and friends. This picturesque venue boasts the perfect mix of old converted barn and modern contemporary buildings, making the venue feel much bigger than it is. The couples’ brave red and gold colour scheme, Christie’s elegant lace dress and makeup by Urban Decay continued the blend of traditional and fashionable. Theatrical canapes, liquor shots as favours and playful touches of glitter and sequins added a sense of mischeviousness to the proceedings, showcasing the couple’s cheeky, fun-loving outlook. After a sunset woodland romp for couples’ portraits amongst the cotton-like seedheads and wind-blown wheat, we returned to the yellow glow of the barns for cocktails, dancing and popcorn before being treated to a serenading by the effortlessly hilarious ‘Sax Man’ with his dayglow saxophone.
