Antigua Wedding Photographer, Antigua
An Antigua Wedding photographer can be hard to find – we were privileged to be asked by Danielle and Liam to fly to Antigua with them and shoot their beach wedding at The Verandah Resort. We were instantly excited. Any chance to shoot outside of the UK is an honour for us and a place like Antigua even more so. We arrived on Thursday afternoon, flying into 30 degree heat and 80% humidty. Antigua is honest, slow living and welcoming. Everyone on this islands seemed to have a smile and a sense of ‘no problem man’ attitude – which we loved. An afternoon laying on pure white sand soaking in as much of the scorching sun as we could handle got us well prepared to shoot the wedding the very next day, our first experience as a Antigua wedding photographer.
The Verandah Resort welcomed us in the typical Antiguan fashion and made us right at home from the first second. We got breakfast (bumping into the bride-to-be) and then headed pool-side to our arranged meeting place. The warm excitement from the bridal party and groom party perfectly reflected the clear blue sky and already soaring temperature – this was going to be an amazing day.
If you’re considering a beach wedding for yourself, we stand testiment to how incredible they are. Danielle and Liam had 22 guests, creating the perfect atmosphere of their closest and most loved family and friends. This wedding gave a ceremony so intimate that even the guests in the back row could clearly hear the vows. Everyone made us right at home and like we were old friends or even part of the family. We’ll be back for sure, Antigua.
