Still catching my breath after the most spectacula Still catching my breath after the most spectacular weekend celebrating a love story that beautifully blended Indian and English traditions; a gorgeous coming together of two very close families. With 3 jaw-dropping outfit changes (Nakul outdid Emma by 1!) - the longest and loudest Jaan I’ve ever witnessed (seriously—people were dancing in the hedges), and a setting straight out of a countryside fairytale. The family’s country home was transformed into a riot of colour, joy, and emotion. I just about made it through the Hindu ceremony without crying 😂 It was one of those weddings where every second was magic. I’ve tried to pick favourites for this post but I just can’t—there were too many! Grateful (slightly exhausted 😂) and honoured to be part of it all. DAAYY 🙌🏻❤️🤌🏻 Kate + Max opened the next chapter of their love story in true style this weekend at the stunning @kinrosshouse after a wonderful ceremony at Perth Cathedral; where Kate’s grand parents had signed the same register of marriage (how cute is that?!) This wedding was filled with epic views, beautiful intimacy and a feeling that we were just part of the family. What a welcoming, lovely and warm group of family and friends. I’m just gonna come out and say it; I LOVE photo I’m just gonna come out and say it; I LOVE photographing the speeches 🫶 It’s a moment where as a great photographer you actually get to show off a bit- the room is full of reactions and connection, subtext and meaning… just waiting to be made into beautiful works of art…. I get to show you how good I am at the art of noticing, and it’s a chance to make some really lovely portraits of you and your friends and family which are ‘in the moment’ and ‘LIVE’ - but also you’re sitting down - so I can concentrate on composition. It’s a dream. The only issue is that when I’m working I listen to the speech to make sure I’ll be ready for the laughs…. So I’m very often laughing myself.
