This wedding at Great Fosters Hotel really reminded us of our own wedding. Not that it was similar in style (other than the awesome flowers and colours) but because of how emotionally involved and invested Jen, Jason and all their guests were in the actual marriage, not just the wedding day itself. It brought back words that we wrote as part of who we are as people… ‘Happiness is made through triumph over struggle, perseverance in the face of adversity, and the strength of love to overcome all obstacles.’ Every person is on their own path in life, everyone has their own struggles and obstacles to overcome. As a wedding photographer, we’re blessed with witnessing couples that have fought together, grown together and over come so much together. This culminates into a celebration of the greatest kind, as friends and family stand in support and witness the first day of the rest of their lives. This, was one of those days.
We’ve known Jen a few years and know what a cheerful, positive and bubbly person she is. She’s got a care-free, life-loving disposition that’s instantly contagious. When we met Jason for our pre-wedding chat, it was clear to see he was the perfect man for Jen. His fun loving and cheeky manner perfectly compliments Jen as a person in the best possible way. We knew this would be an emotional day. The amount of detail and thought these two had put into every element of the day really made it an amazing wedding. The wartime theme was perfectly executed in a fun way, whilst being classy as well. Thank you Jen + Jason for having us as part of your day, it was an absolute pleasure.
