We’re there to capture all of the tiny details and epic moments, for you to treasure for years to come. Offering documentary wedding photography with an editorial slant, so you have photos making you look like a rockstar, that felt effortless to take.
Our Approach as a Relaxed Wedding Photographer
95% of our work is completely unposed and candid. We aim to be like a friend with a camera, watching the day unfold organically and capturing in an unscripted way. The last thing we want, is to take you away from your wedding for hours of photos – we want you celebrating with family and friends. The real laughter, the real smiles and the fleeting moments. Those are the pictures you’ll love.
We prefer not to limit to hours, meaning we can tell the full story of your day from Bridal prep right through to late at night.

We’re Kat + Ash, Cornish Wedding Photographers living in Cornwall; we’re passionate about telling stories in a beautiful, natural and candid way; and we’d love to tell yours.
We’re lucky to now call the south coast of Cornwall home, but capture weddings across the UK and beyond – no location is too far. We spend our time constantly going after the best possible version of life, even when that’s not the easiest option. We truly believe that nothing worth having comes easy.

Always wanting to be a candid wedding photographer, the most beautiful thing to us is the truth. Weddings come in so many different shapes and sizes and we love the variation. Whether your having an Elopement or huge 3 day wedding, we’ll tell your story faithfully, seeing first and capturing second. We’ll never say cheese and we’ll never fake anything – resulting in less cringe and more authenticity.
We’re always trying to find the real connections, honest story and small details that make up the bigger picture. From the moment we arrive, we try to weave ourselves into your day seamlessly. Whilst blending in to the background, we let your day naturally unfold and find the best view points for those memories to be frozen.
We’re not loud and we’re not intrusive. If you’re looking for someone extremely energetic to ‘take charge’ of your day, we probably aren’t right for you. We’re aiming to become like one of your best friends who brought their camera along, infusing what we see with a creative touch. We’ll give a bit of light direction as it’s needed, but prefer to create moments for your energy to come through and space for you to interact as a couple, then capture the real moment. Your wedding photographs should be a collection of moments, not a collection of poses.
It’s important to us that our couples feel a connection with our images – we have a unique warm style, which all our photos are edited to.

We’re Kat + Ash, Wedding Photographers; The Springles. We’re husband and wife, best friends, artists, collaborators and parents to 3 amazing home schooled children; twin girls Zion + Vega (7) and Atlas, our 6 month old beautiful boy.
We’re lucky to now call the south coast of Cornwall home, but capture weddings across the UK and beyond – no location is too far. We spend our time constantly going after the best possible version of life, even when that’s not the easiest option. We truly believe that nothing worth having comes easy.
We love to travel, experience new cultures and are obsessed with a great Oat Flat White. If we book a destination wedding you can almost guarantee that we’ll turn it into a family travelling experience. We believe music is best played on vinyl and are in love with Wes Anderson films.
